Cambridge IGCSE (Grades 10–11)
Designed for students aged 14 to 16, the Cambridge IGCSE curriculum develops critical thinking, enquiry, and problem-solving skills. Equivalent to the British GCSE, it is recognized worldwide by universities and employers.
IGCSE Subject Areas:
- Languages – English, Afrikaans, French, isiZulu
- Humanities & Social Sciences – Geography, History
- Mathematics & Sciences – Mathematics, Biology, Physics, Chemistry
- Creative & Vocational Subjects – Computer Science, Business Studies
General IGCSE Progression:
- Grade 8/9 – Foundation: Cambridge Checkpoint 1, 2 & 3
- Grade 10 – IGCSE Core Syllabus (5–7 subjects)
- Grade 11 – IGCSE Extended Syllabus (C symbol or higher)
Cambridge AS & A Levels (Grades 12–13)
The Cambridge AS and A Levels are internationally recognized qualifications that prepare students for top universities worldwide. AS Level is typically taken in Grade 12, while A Level is completed in Grade 13.
Typical AS & A Level Progression:
- Grade 12 – AS Level (4–5 subjects, D symbol or higher for exemption)
- Grade 13 – A Level (2–3 subjects, E symbol or higher)
Compulsory IGCSE Subjects:
- English Language or English Language & Literature
- A Second Language – Afrikaans, French, or isiZulu
- Mathematics and at least one Science (Biology, Physics, or Chemistry)
Additional Subjects (Choose at least 3):
- Mathematics, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Geography, History
- Accounting, Computer Science, Business Studies
Globally Recognized Qualifications:
- Accepted by over 160 countries and major universities worldwide
- Equivalent to UK A Levels, ensuring a strong academic foundation

Lauren Muller
Lauren is a qualified Psychometrist, who has over 10 years experience in using psychometric assessment to guide and assist clients in finding their career path. She also provides study skills sessions, time management (study time tables), subject choices for grade 10 and career choices for grade 11 and up. She also offers workshops for schools on various topics and bulk assessment options. Lauren has also worked in the corporate sector and assists with job selection, succession planning, career changes and personal development.
